ADTRAN Inc. has expanded its ProCloud suite of subscription-based managed services beyond wireless and local-area networking to include unified communications, security, and Wi-Fi analytics as well.
Partners of the networking vendor, whose headquarters are in Huntsville, Ala., can now offer clients a more extensive range of mix-and-match services paid for through recurring monthly fees, and manage them all through a central interface.
The new ProCloud UC service, which ADTRAN will deliver in partnership with BroadSoft Inc., of Gaithersburg, Md., includes mobility, instant messaging, high-definition audio, videoconferencing, and group collaboration capabilities.
ProCloud Security provides cloud-based web and spam filtering powered by solutions from TitanHQ, an Irish security vendor with U.S. headquarters in Tampa, Fla.
ProCloud Analytics utilizes software from U.K.-based Purple Wifi Ltd. to collect real-time movement and location information that coffee shops, restaurants, and other operators of guest wireless networks can use to generate demographic reports about customers and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to guest network users.
“By building out solutions powered by industry leading vendors, ADTRAN is bringing together technology solutions that will help our partners grow and meet the changing requirements of the market,” said Meggin Sawyer, ADTRAN’s vice president of business solutions and cloud services, in prepared remarks. “BroadSoft, Purple and TitanHQ are leaders in their respective markets, with easy to use and fully cloud-based solutions that seamlessly integrate with ADTRAN’s approach to managed services delivery, providing a great experience for partners, especially MSPs, and their end-customers.”
Optimized for companies with up to 50 employees, ProCloud features a customizable online management platform offering centralized configuration and firmware management, as well as round-the-clock monitoring and alerts, and access to technical resources for support assistance. The ProCloud Plus offering adds outsourced management of end user resources.
Both services enable end users to convert networking, and now a variety of additional functions, from capital to operating expenses, while providing MSPs a source of incremental monthly recurring revenue.
ADTRAN added gigabit routers, IP business gateways, and Session Border Controllers to ProCloud in August.
