Managed Services Co-Op The 20 Inks Alliance Agreement with CloudJumper

CloudJumper’s Cloud Workspace and Streaming App Services products are now go-to options for The 20’s member MSPs.

Managed services cooperative The 20 has added products from streaming application and desktop vendor CloudJumper to its roster of shared solution offerings.

The agreement makes Garner, N.C.-based CloudJumper’s workspace-as-a-service platform as well as the application virtualization product it unveiled in May go-to options for The 20’s member MSPs. Both solutions will help those members satisfy an increasingly common need among their SMB customers, according to Tim Conkle, The 20’s CEO.

“We’re seeing a lot of it come up,” he says, noting that the decision to meet that demand with products from CloudJumper followed a rigorous evaluation process.

“When we endorse a product we’ve really, really, really looked at it and decided this is the way to go,” Conkle says.

Especially appealing aspects of CloudJumper’s solutions, he continues, include the availability of outsourced management assistance for MSPs without in-house cloud workspace and app virtualization expertise. In addition, Conkle notes, The 20 is a long-time user of automated cloud workspace, app, and data deployment software from IndependenceIT, which CloudJumper acquired in February.

Headquartered in Plano, Texas, The 20 is a collection of independently owned MSPs with common tools, processes, and resources. As ChannelPro has reported previously, the company is aggressively seeking to establish itself as a household name in managed services with a coast-to-coast footprint. Discounted rates on software, made possible by the group’s bulk purchasing power, are one of The 20’s top member benefits.

CloudJumper is now one of two workspace-as-a-service vendors in The 20’s partner lineup, along with itopia Inc. Based in Miami, itopia offers workspaces hosted in Google’s public cloud, and is The 20’s provider of choice for customers who insist on solutions affiliated with name-brand vendors.

According to Conkle, The 20 is onboarding 10 to 20 new MSPs a month on average presently. The group currently has “well over” 100 members at its top-tier elite level, which offers exclusive ownership of a local sales territory. Conkle’s long-term goal is to reach 400 to 500 elite members, with coverage spanning the entire nation.

The 20 opens its 2018 Vision member conference next week in Dallas. CloudJumper is one of several alliance partners scheduled to speak at the show, along with BDR vendor Unitrends MSP, VoiP provider Cytracom LLC, file sync and share vendor eFolder Inc., and security vendor RapidFire Tools.

Global outlays on workspace-as-a-service solutions will expand at a 12.1 percent CAGR through 2022 to $18.3 billion, according to Transparency Market Research.
