AVANT has rolled out a fresh update to its Pathfinder platform that tackles a familiar partner headache. The newly announced Commissions tracking feature gives Trusted Advisors — AVANT’s term for its MSP and channel partners — real-time insight into what they’re earning, when they’re earning it, and why.
For those tired of spreadsheets, delays, and payout mysteries, Pathfinder’s new tool promises a welcome upgrade. With it, they can spend a lot less time spent chasing numbers.
“AVANT’s mission is to empower partners with cutting-edge tools they need to run their business with confidence — and commissions management is a game changer in making that possible,” AVANT President and Co-founder Drew Lydecker said in a prepared statement. “We’re eliminating the guesswork, automating insights, and ensuring that our [Trusted Advisors] can make faster and smarter financial decisions.”
Key Benefits for Trusted Partners
The Commissions tool promises several practical benefits for AVANT partners, including:
- Financial Clarity: Get real-time visibility into commissions, revenue trends, and detailed breakdowns.
- Improved Accuracy: Built-in discrepancy detection helps resolve issues before they affect payouts.
- Actionable Intelligence: Variance tracking offers deeper insight into changes in customer payments and forecasts.
Built from the Field, Not a Think Tank
The launch of the Commissions feature marks a technological step forward. That said, the thinking behind the feature is rooted in real-world partner feedback.
“All of these cool tools and platforms that we’re building aren’t just coming from us sitting in a think tank. We’re not just saying, ‘Wow, that would be really cool,’” Jake Schuman, AVANT vice president of Pathfinder, told ChannelPro in an interview. “We are intentionally building these based on all of our Trusted Advisors’ feedback. … We’re listening, we’re investing in Pathfinder, and building tools specifically to help them address the main points in the platform.”
Time Saved, Decisions Accelerated
For partners already using the platform, like Robert Petrakis, the Commissions tool has had an immediate impact. The CFO of Opex Technologies said the tool allows his business to make faster, smarter financial decisions with confidence. “Our revenue assurance team is saving hours every week by resolving inquiries faster and eliminating wasted effort on false discrepancies,” Petrakis said in a prepared statement.
Meanwhile, the Commissions tool is more than a one-off feature. Rather, AVANT seeks to evolve Pathfinder into a central hub for intelligent business decision-making. “[Trusted Advisors] require a level of financial sophistication that has yet to exist in our industry, and we made it our mission to deliver it,” Schuman said in the press release. “This isn’t just a new feature. It’s a fundamental shift in how Trusted Advisors manage, protect, and grow their income with Pathfinder.”
Power in Visibility
With Pathfinder’s new Commissions tool, Trusted Advisors gain access to a level of financial control and clarity that’s long been missing from the partner experience. Instead of shuffling through reports or sorting spreadsheets, partners can stay focused on what matters most: growing their businesses and serving customers with confidence in their bottom lines.
