MSPs Take Note: Top Vendors Offer Key Advice and More at ChannelPro’s Florida Show

Find out how to boost business with the hottest trends and expert advice for MSPs. Leading vendors at ChannelPro LIVE reveal top strategies.

There are plenty of opportunities for MSPs to grow this year — if you know where to look. That was the consensus of several of the channel’s top technology vendors, who were on hand this month at ChannelPro LIVE: Tampa.

The MSP conference on Feb. 5-6 brought together leading vendors and MSPs from the Tampa, FL area and beyond, offering an opportunity for knowledge-sharing. These vendors showcased powerful solutions that align with the evolving needs of MSPs. From security and compliance to lead generation and network monetization, MSPs have many options to strengthen their offerings in 2025.

ChannelPro asked a handful of vendors to reveal their unique value propositions, strategies for MSP growth, and insights on industry trends. Below are some highlights from what they shared.

Alta Labs: Carrier Offloading as a Passive Income StreamAlta Labs at ChannelPro LIVE Tampa

  • How It Helps MSPs: Alta Labs provides network infrastructure that allows MSPs to generate passive income by offloading Wi-Fi traffic to large carriers like AT&T.
  • Advice for MSPs That Want to Grow in 2025: “Most MSPs still don’t know about this opportunity with carrier offloading,” said Dallin Kauffman, vice president of business development. “We’re here to help them understand how they can monetize their network infrastructure in new ways.”
  • Bonus Insights: Alta Labs is commited to MSPs. “We’re super dealer-focused. No cloud management fees, great margins, and free unlimited phone support,” noted Cole Sampson, enterprise channel manager. “We rely on community feedback to innovate.”

*MSPs can apply for a heavily discounted Alta Labs NFR Starter kit. ChannelPro Insiders are also eligible for an additional discount on the kit.

Channel Hunters: Guaranteed Lead GenerationChannel Hunters at ChannelPro LIVE Tampa

  • How It Helps MSPs: Channel Hunters provides MSPs with a dedicated sales caller who integrates seamlessly into their team. It also guarantees appointments each month — and prides itself on month-to-month agreements, offering flexibility for partners.
  • Advice for MSPs That Want to Grow in 2025: “We average 9.7 set qualified appointments per MSP per month, but if we don’t hit at least four, we refund part of their spend,” said Chief Hunter Stephen Smith. “We hold ourselves 100% accountable.”
  • Bonus Insights: ChannelPro events offer MSPs and vendors a great opportunity to collaborate in a smaller setting than larger expos, according to Smith. “We get more value from these events than from the giant ones that cost 10 times as much. That’s why we’ve already booked for the whole year.”

  • How It Helps MSPs: Galactic Advisors offers third-party security assessments and compliance tools that help MSPs sell security services without adding new tools to their stack.
  • Advice for MSPs That Want to Grow in 2025: “Every client needs a cyber liability program,” said Matt Chirillo, inside sales leader. “40% of cyber insurance claims are denied. MSPs need a plan in place to protect themselves and their clients.”
  • Bonus Insights: Security Advisor Aidan Brown emphasized the importance of hands-on support. “We don’t just throw a report at an MSP and say, ‘Good luck.’ Our team is here every step of the way.”

  • Bonus Insights: Pincus added: “ChannelPro events let us reach MSPs we wouldn’t connect with anywhere else. Unlike larger events, where vendors get lost in the crowd, here we get valuable time with decision-makers.”

NUSO: The Advantage of Being a Carrier and UCaaS ProviderNUSO at ChannelPro LIVE Tampa

  • How It Helps MSPs: As both a carrier and a unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) provider, NUSO offers MSPs greater control over network traffic and enhanced reliability.

  • Bonus Insights: Foster pointed out the importance of voice services. “If the network isn’t stable, customers blame the phone service. MSPs can strengthen their relationships by ensuring both work seamlessly together.”
