“We don’t need to ship anything. You don’t need to install anything,” says Amit Bareket (pictured), Perimeter 81’s CEO and a veteran of Israel’s elite Unit 81 cyber intelligence group (hence the name).
MSPs can usually deploy the system in under 20 minutes, the vendor says, while reducing TCO for their clients by an average of 60%. The result, according to Bareket, is a secure networking-as-a-service platform perfect for organizations with 50 to 5,000 employees that want enterprise-grade security at SMB prices. A multitenant management console, he adds, makes the system easy to manage and expand as well.
Members of the company’s partner program get volume-based discounts of up to 70% on plans that start at $8 per user per month (plus $40 a month per online gateway), as well as access to a deal registration system, a customer success team, and a partner portal packed with marketing materials and training resources.
Founded in 2018, the company has over 2,800 end customers at present and recently completed a $100 million funding round that values it at $1 billion. According to Bareket, that money positions Perimeter 81 to scale up and double down on MSP-friendly functionality, including integrations with leading RMM and PSA solutions.
