Never has technology had such a prominent role to play in the success of business nor the pace of change as intense.
HP is expanding its digital services portfolio to support companies’ growing demand to make IT more adaptive to change, to deliver more consistent end user experiences, and to leverage new service consumption models that match how businesses prefer to buy today.
HP Subscription Management Service – for Microsoft cloud-based licensing
While IT leaders see managing costs and usage of SaaS applications as a top business priority, more than half still rely on dated internal tools and manual spreadsheets to track and monitor their subscriptions and renewals.1 As a result, it’s challenging for IT to know when renewals are happening, or how much is being spent on software licenses.
Designed for small and medium-sized companies, the new HP Subscription Management Service enables companies to make software investment decisions based on reliable workforce intelligence. The service provides easy-to-use license management of Microsoft 365 as well as the full list of Microsoft cloud subscription services. With online visibility of software analytics and usage trending by user, department, or geography, IT teams can easily shift and scale their subscriptions as needed. For channel partners, the new service offers a one-stop cloud-based solution that enables them to sell Microsoft 365 and the full Microsoft cloud subscription library to their customers along with value added from HP including licensing analytics and premier partner support from HP.
Additional features help companies reduce costs and administration overhead while increasing security and compliance. HP customers can easily flex licenses up or down with simple pay-as-you-go subscription options – ensuring that software spend is right-sized as needs change. With HP Subscription Management, companies can also secure their workforce from wherever they work with essential cloud security health checks optimized for the hybrid workplace.
HP Subscription Management Service is expected to be available in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Chile by the end of 2021. The service is expected to be available in additional countries, including the US, in the first quarter of 2022.
HP Enablement Service for Windows Autopilot
As part of the shift to cloud-based digital experiences and services, many IT teams are looking to move away from traditional Windows PC image deployment to cloud-based, modern device setup. Although powerful, traditional custom imaging can be complex and time consuming because it is based upon an on-premises IT delivery model that is not well suited to today’s dynamic and more distributed ways of working.
For IT, Windows Autopilot automates new device setup across the Internet with little or no need to touch the device, simplifying the whole process. While for employees, this modern approach enables a self-service out-of-box setup experience, regardless of where they happen to be.
There is now a simpler, faster, and better way to provision new Windows 10 devices or Windows 11 devices as available by adopting a modern cloud-based approach with Windows Autopilot. With HP Enablement Service for Windows Autopilot, HP Experts in modern IT will assess a customer’s device management practices and then design and implement Windows Autopilot into their IT environment so they can benefit from powerful cloud-based automation and delight employees.
HP Enablement Service for Windows Autopilot is available worldwide now.
