Pax8 has added two backup and disaster recovery products from StorageCraft to its solutions catalog.
Partners of the cloud distributor can now resell StorageCraft’s ShadowXafe BDR solution and OneXafe Solo 300 disaster recovery appliance. Those offerings join a lineup of other StorageCraft systems available through Pax8, including the continuity vendor’s Cloud Backup, File Backup and Recovery, and Granular Recovery for Exchange products.
“Cloud-based backup products are essential as more businesses are looking for secure protection for their data, especially with a growing demand for a remote workforce,” said Ryan Walsh, Pax8’s chief channel officer, in prepared remarks. “That is why we are excited to offer partners StorageCraft’s ShadowXafe and OneXafe Solo anytime, anywhere secure data backup and recovery tailored for SMBs. The simplicity combined with the ease of deployment offer partners a cost-effective and high value solution.”
Introduced in 2018, ShadowXafe is the next-generation successor to StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect BDR solution, which is also available through Pax8. Unlike its predecessor, ShadowXafe provides agentless as well as agent-based protection for virtual machines.
Officially launched last month, the OneXafe Solo 300 uses ShadowXafe software to stream data from servers, PCs, and virtual machines to StorageCraft’s cloud. A compact, affordably priced device meant for businesses at the smaller end of the SMB spectrum, the system is designed to be “plug and play” simple to install.
“We are thrilled that Pax8 is now offering StorageCraft’s ShadowXafe and OneXafe Solo to its partners,” said StorageCraft CMO Shridar Subramanian in a press statement. “The ground-breaking technology eliminates storage and data protection silos while blurring the line between primary and secondary storage. By standardizing on StorageCraft, channel partners can easily implement a perfect solution for each client, all while decreasing costs and maximizing their revenue.”
Bitdefender and Evolve IP have both announced agreements with Pax8 since March.
