Jenne, Inc., a leading value-added distributor, is launching a new virtual instructor-led workshop through the company’s training program, Jenne University. A two-day, hands-on, interactive workshop, the course is designed for Avaya end-users with IP Office administration responsibility.
This comprehensive new Avaya workshop takes a deep-dive approach providing students with practical experience connecting to IP Office using IP Office Web Manager and performing basic administration. Ray Stephens, one of Jenne’s Avaya certified instructors, will lead the course through a wide range of informative and valuable topics. Some of these include learning how to use the Avaya web management interface, creating physical and phantom users, button programming, creating and modifying groups, establishing incoming call routes and time profiles, setting user rights, developing short codes, exploring system settings, working with SoftConsole and understanding hot desking and licensing.
“Jenne has been an ALPP award winning training partner with Avaya for nearly 15 years,” said Jim Karaffa, senior director of training and technical services, Jenne, Inc. “We are pleased to now be able to offer Avaya end-users this same award-winning training. This training was developed in response to requests by our partners on behalf of their customers, the end-user. End-users are becoming more acclimated to the programming of their solutions and are taking ownership of their communication options.”
The first Jenne University Avaya IP Office End-User Basic Administration Certification Workshop will take place May 29-30—beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and ending with Wednesday’s class from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be an additional 30-45 minutes of testing time on Wednesday, as all students will prepare for and take a certification exam on the last day of class.
