Aspire Technologies Inc. has officially rolled out a new online add-on for its QuoteWerks quoting solution.
QuoteWerks Web, which was introduced last month at the Orlando, Fla., vendor’s annual partner event, provides access to data previously available only through the product’s desktop edition via web browsers. The system shares a common database with QuoteWerks Desktop, so users can utilize all of their previously created documents, layouts, templates, administrative settings, and more without first performing a data migration.
Only users of the top-of-the-line Corporate Edition of QuoteWerks who also have a valid maintenance subscription are eligible to add QuoteWerks Web to their existing environment. The new service costs an incremental $10 a month per concurrent user, and buyers can choose what portion of their desktop users receive web access as well. That’s an example of Aspire’s broader commitment to make QuoteWerks Web licensing as flexible as possible, according to John Lewe, the company’s president and lead developer.
“We have an extensive existing user base and wanted to architect QuoteWerks Web as an add-on so our existing users would not be penalized for already owning QuoteWerks,” he said in a press statement. “The way we’ve designed it, our existing users will be able to simply add-on QuoteWerks Web as needed, without having to move systems or re-purchase a brand new system to take advantage of everything QuoteWerks Web offers.”
The new system integrates with Aspire’s QuoteValet quote delivery and acceptance solution; Etilize and other online product catalogs; and the ConnectWise Manage PSA system. Integration with Datto Inc.’s Autotask PSA and the Salesforce online CRM platform is forthcoming.
QuoteWerks recently added integration between its desktop solution and the Pulseway PSA solution, from managed services software maker MMSOFT Design Ltd.
