GravityZone Security for Virtualized Environments†uses layered next-generation defenses such as application control, tunable machine learning and network sandboxing to deliver superior efficacy against advanced threats, known and unknown. In addition to reliable protection, GravityZone offers VMware Cloud on AWS customers a single point of security management for their entire hybrid cloud estate, simplifying security operations, maintaining comprehensive visibility and ensuring security-policy consistency across the VMware hybrid cloud.
GravityZone natively integrates with both the on-premises vCenter Servers and those running in VMware Cloud on AWS, which are interconnected via VMware Hybrid Link Mode. This gives operations teams real-time visibility into the global virtual machine (VM) inventory, including instantiation and termination, protection status, and movement across the hybrid cloud. Consequently, GravityZone can automatically apply VM-appropriate security policies (e.g., based on grouping and tagging) that follow the workloads regardless of where in the hybrid cloud they operate.
