ViewSonic Corp. has announced a strategic partnership with Intel Corp. to deliver unified communications solutions for conference rooms and classrooms.
The new offerings connect ViewSonic’s ViewBoard interactive flat panel solutions with Intel’s Unite collaboration and conferencing solution via the Unite app.
Together, the two technologies enable co-workers to share screen content wirelessly immediately after walking into a properly equipped meeting room. The integrated systems includes easily accessed controls for adjusting digital collaboration, video conferencing, room lighting, and hardware management settings as well.
“Collaboration can be overly complex, from IT managing multiple platforms that don’t talk to each other to user difficulty in getting meetings started and sharing content. We set out to solve this with Intel Unite,” said Tom Garrison, vice president and general manager for Intel’s Connected Home and Commercial Client group, in a press statement. “We’re excited to work with ViewSonic, which is driving new meeting experiences with digital whiteboards. This will change how we collaborate for the better.”
ViewBoard displays integrated with the Intel Unite app, which are available in 86-inch, 75-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch models, will start shipping this month.
Intel introduced Unite in June 2015, and updated it this February.
