Hewlett Packard Enterprise has added new competencies and marketing resources to its Partner Ready program.
The Palo Alto, Calif.-based hardware maker disclosed the changes on day one of its annual Discover conference in Las Vegas.
HPE introduced its first set of competencies last September at the 2016 edition of Discover, and officially rolled them out in November. Those initial certifications have now been joined by new ones for rapid provisioning; enterprise private and hybrid cloud and Private Cloud Express; data management and analytics with SAP HANA; and Mobile First Campus; among others.
Partner enablement assets, including reference architectures, solution guides, customer presentations, and quick reference cards, will be available for each new competency.
Also announced today was a new Silver Data Center Specialization designed to help partners quickly acquire the knowledge and skills they need to sell solutions that include products from HPE’s recently acquired SimpliVity and Nimble Storage units, and a revised Knowledge Credit Simplification curriculum based on the same business outcome-focused training materials HPE employees use.
On the marketing front, HPE unveiled its new Partner Ready Digital Marketing Program. Designed to align partner marketing campaigns with changing end user buying patterns, the new offering includes a wide array of educational resources, new co-marketing tools and campaign content, and access to marketing managers, marketing service agencies, market development funds, and marketing events.
“Every day I meet with partners to hear their feedback and perspective on how we can continue to drive the value, resources and expertise they and our joint customers have come to trust and expect from our company,” said Denzil Samuels, HPE’s senior vice president for worldwide indirect sales, in a press statement. “The latest updates to our industry-leading Partner Ready program and the new digital marketing program reflect our continued commitment to deliver the solutions that speak to the needs of our partners and set them up for success.”
HPE Discover 2017 concludes this Thursday. Products announced at the conference today include a new line of ProLiant servers, a new set of Linux-based SMB server solutions, and a new asset tracking solutions for users of wireless network infrastructure from HPE’s Aruba unit.
