Kaseya, a New York–based provider of IT management solutions for MSPs and SMBs, has made immediately available its latest release of Kaseya AuthAnvil on demand. The company has also announced the upcoming release of its Traverse Hybrid Cloud and Data Center monitoring solution, version 9.4. The announcements were made at Kaseya Connect Europe, the company’s partner networking and trade event that wraps up tomorrow at the Barcelona Hilton in Barcelona, Spain.
Delivering a new level of security within a single identity and access management (IAM) solution, AuthAnvil now provides easy single sign on (SSO), multifactor authentication (MFA), and automated user provisioning for Microsoft Office 365.
The technology saves users time by enabling them to securely sign in once to access all applications without having to remember multiple passwords, accounts, and login information.†With its MFA capabilities, Kaseya AuthAnvil protects businesses from common password breaches at popular services and sites such as LinkedIn, Dropbox, Yahoo, and others.
“It’s not easy to strike a balance between a seamless user experience and top-notch security, but that is exactly what Kaseya AuthAnvil accomplishes,” said Jason Shirdon, vice president of operations, Ease Technologies, in a press statement. “With AuthAnvil, we’re able to comprehensively manage our IAM needs both efficiently and consistently.”
Kaseya AuthAnvil automatically provisions Office 365 user accounts as part of the authentication process. By directly tying into a company’s existing Active Directory or other user directory, AuthAnvil can automate both Office 365 user provisioning and privileges assignment. As a result, IT administrators no longer have to create user accounts and assign common services and privileges to, for example, SharePoint, OneDrive, and mail.
Kaseya’s MFA supports Apple iOS, Android phones and tablets, and Windows 10 or the new U2F protocol, and meets the latest requirements of NIST 800-60 for mobile MFA, HIPAA, FFIEC, and PCI standards.
Traverse Coming Soon
Kaseya’s Traverse Hybrid Cloud and Data Center monitoring solution, version 9.4, introduces automation to provision monitoring of new cloud infrastructure, network devices, or applications for full network lifecycle management. It is scheduled for release late this month.
Traverse 9.4 allows IT providers to instantly align infrastructure technology with business performance through innovations in its discovery and fingerprinting technology. By scanning for infrastructure changes, Traverse can automatically detect updates and provision optimal monitoring based on its library of best-practice signatures. This process eliminates manual configurations and speeds onboarding of new customers for MSPs, while providing enterprise users with an up-to-date topology of their applications or network infrastructure changes.
Traverse 9.4 also introduces an intuitive search capability that enables administrators to quickly deploy and test system-wide changes to devices and monitoring thresholds with a single click. Built on Google’s Material Design standard, the new interface improves usability and mobility while providing a familiar user experience.
Additionally, Traverse 9.4 will support Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) to enhance user authenticated security, and protect critical network and application infrastructure through single sign on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA). SAML support is fully integrated with other Kaseya products, such as AuthAnvil, enabling customers to secure end users and their advanced monitoring products from a single vendor.
