With SMBs increasingly embracing a hybrid mix of on-premises and cloud infrastructure to help provide agility and efficiency as they grow, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has unveiled new enhancements to HPE StoreEasy Storage, HPE ProLiant Easy Connect, and HPE Flex Solutions, designed to give small and midsized business the flexibility to develop and maintain the right mix of hybrid IT elements.
The HPE StoreEasy Storage portfolio, the company’s NAS platform under $15k, has been enhanced through new configurations with Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2016 Standard Edition operating system, the latest Intel Xeon processors, and high-speed memory. HPE StoreEasy Storage now offers more effective deduplication and compression to help customers maximize their usable file space. In addition, enhancements offer greater security, simplified HPE provisioning tools, simple business continuity solutions, and greater capacity density to help SMBs with file data growth.
Combining the flexibility and scalability of the cloud with the security and control of on-premises IT, the company has expanded its ProLiant Easy Connect family with the addition of the HPE ProLiant Easy Connect ML110 Managed Hybrid Server. With support for up to 150 SMB users per site on any number of sites, the solution allows customers to maintain the right mix of cloud-based applications and on-premises control for business growth, more complex workloads and expansion to remote sites. Also new to HPE ProLiant Easy Connect:
- New high availability and 24×7 support options for customers who need protection against business disruption and data loss in the event of a system failure.
- Aruba Central integration for centralized, proactive Wi-Fi device monitoring.
- Integration with ConnectWise and Autotask professional service automation tools.
HPE has also refreshed its Flex Solutions for Microsoft SQL Server, which now features hybrid flash HPE MSA 2042 Storage systems and support for SQL Server 2016.
