AAXA Technologies, a manufacturer of micro projectors, has released the M5 Mini Projector. The company’s latest projector includes a 28-watt, lithium-ion battery that supports a 70-minute operating time, as well as a 4th generation optical engine powered by 20,000 hour solid-state LEDs and Texas Instruments Digital-Light-Processing (DLP) technology.†
The M5 delivers 900 LED lumens of brightness at an HD resolution of 1280 x 800 in a micro-projector form factor of just 6 x 6 x 1 inches. The device offers an array of inputs including Composite A/V, HDMI, and VGA and features a 2-watt speaker and 3.5mm audio output.
Additionally, the micro projector includes an onboard media player that decodes files directly off a USB Stick or MicroSD card and is capable of handling high-resolution videos, movies, and high-megapixel pictures. This feature allows users to leave the laptop and power cords at home and deliver presentations and videos directly from the projector.
