ADTRAN Equips MSPs with Range of Solutions to Deliver the Network as a Service

The addition of Gigabit-class equipment and management of voice and data services to ProCloud Subscription Services offers providers more recurring revenue streams.

ADTRAN Inc., a provider of next-generation open networking solutions, announced at its CONNECT event in Huntsville, Ala., the expansion of its ProCloud Subscription Services with the addition of its Gigabit routers, IP business gateways, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs). This increases the company’s cloud-managed services portfolio to offer rental of carrier-class equipment and associated managed services.

ProCloud Subscription Services offers MSPs a range of wired and wireless managed voice and data services to support network demands, whether for businesses, government, or other organizations. ADTRAN’s MSP partners can now deliver and scale business-class hosted VoIP services to support their customers while generating new revenue streams for their own businesses.

The subscription services enable MSPs to streamline service introduction, management, and upgrades for current and new customers. The newly added voice and data solutions also enable MSPs to meet the new standard of Gigabit broadband necessary to support increasing bandwidth demands and a more expansive set of end users, as well as achieve high-quality voice services. ADTRAN’s voice quality monitoring helps MSPs ensure they deliver high quality-of-service to the end user while providing granular analytics to manage that service.

According to Meggin Sawyer, ADTRAN’S vice president of business solutions and cloud services sales, the company’s MSP partners now have the opportunity “to provide a new generation of business owners with the tools they expect to run their businesses efficiently and at a price that is affordable.” It is ADTRAN’s goal, she says, to help partners get into an MSP model so they have “a more stable cash flow, higher margins, increased customer loyalty, [and] higher ROI.”

Scott Stewart, director of ProCloud services and solutions, says the ProCloud program targets the sub-50 seat user market. “This program will give MSPs and VARs a lower point of entry to go in and update their customers’ infrastructure at a very low cost,” he explains.
