Value-added distributor Pax8 has expanded its portfolio of cloud service offerings with the addition of DataMAPt‘s cloud-based remote monitoring and management service.
“As channel partners drive the need for a highly-flexible built-in network monitoring service, we are excited to introduce DataMAPt into our cloud marketplace,” says Ryan Walsh, senior vice president of partner solutions at Pax8. “DataMAPt provides a reliable, agentless cloud-based monitoring solution that helps partners build greater stickiness with their customers. Through the new partnership, we are providing the tools and enablement our SMB partners require to become a trusted advisor.”
As an agentless monitoring service, DataMAPt’s Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solution eliminates the need to install software agents in the devices. It offers complete remote monitoring, alerting, and reporting of critical system components such as databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.), servers and workstations (Windows, Linux, Unix), virtual systems (VMware, Citrix Xen, etc), storage (SAN and NAS), and network devices (routers, switches, and firewalls). The DataMAPt architecture was created to enable users to handle any monitoring format and display through a single pane of glass.
“Through our partnership with Pax8, we are expanding our reach into the SMB community,” says Chris Gilliam, president and chief executive officer at DataMAPt. “Our best-in-class RMM solution is completely cloud-based, so it was a natural fit for us to work with a value-added cloud distributor that truly understands the importance of cloud computing and its bright future.”
