Samsung Electronics has launched its new ProXpress C30 series multi-function printers (MFPs), built for small- and medium-sized companies. The series includes three models – the C3010ND, C3060ND, and C3060FR.
To help reduce operating cost, the C30 series features high-yield toner cartridges designed to handle heavy printing volumes as well as the company’s Instant Fusing System technology, providing shorter wait times and faster prints and copies. The printers also offer resolutions of 9,600 x 600 dots per inch and Samsung’s Rendering engine for Clean Pages (ReCP) technology to ensure clear printed, copied, and scanned images.
In comparison to the prior series, states the company, the C30’s overall features have been improved, including an increase in printing speeds from 26 ppm to 30 ppm, toner yield to 8K/5K, and paper capacity to 1,400 sheets. With an 800 MHz dual CPU processor, the printers are 50 percent faster than the previous models, accelerating the machines’ printing, copying, and scanning processes. Additionally, any Samsung eXtensible Open Architecture (XOA) embedded devices or selected independent software vendor (ISV) solutions such as Rindale, Scanshare, and Cirrato can be integrated with the C30 series.
