IT products and services distributor Tech Data made several announcements this week in conjunction with its TechSelect Partner Conference in Boca Raton, Florida, including the addition of new cloud offerings in the Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store, website enhancements, and the availability of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet and Surface Book to partners.
One of the new solutions added to the Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store includes Aria, a hosted collaboration platform that combines the benefits of an on premise Cisco system and a cloud-hosted model. Aria offers businesses of all sizes hosted collaboration solutions with a wide range of customizable features. The distributor also announced an expanded agreement with Webroot, adding the security company’s Endpoint Protection platform to the Cloud Solutions Store. Webroot offers a comprehensive suite of corporate security services and software for network security, data management, and compliance.
Additionally, the newly announced Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet and Surface Book are now available for order through Tech Data. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 boasts the power and versatility of a complete, cloud-connected Windows 10 device, while the new high performance Microsoft Surface Book features a 13.5-inch display, backlit keyboard, and a removable screen that can be used as a tablet.
Tech Data recently introduced a new company logo and associated branding, designed to illustrate the growing range of products and services the company offers. With the brand refresh, the company also launched a new corporate landing page, offering improved ease-of-use and quick links to its online shopping experience via shop.techdata.com. The enhanced website features a more robust search engine, a special pricing agreement (S.P.A.) tracker, better tracking capabilities via the Track Open Orders plug, live chat, and more.
