Communications technology company Digium Inc. has released the latest version of its cloud-based unified communications (UC) service, Switchvox Cloud 6.0. The UC service features a more flexible pricing structure with a new metered option for customers that have lower usage patterns but still want the capabilities of a business class phone service.†
Switchvox Cloud 6.0 is built on an advanced open source communications platform, Asterisk 13, allowing for better performance and more efficient call handling. It introduces a complete redesign of the Switchboard with updated call control and call visibility widgets. Additionally, Switchvox Cloud 6.0 boasts new enhancements to its administrative tools, including customizing and sharing Switchboard layouts and optimizing contact management.
