At WPC 2015 today BitTitan, a cloud enablement and IT change automation provider, launched the Estimator, a free online sales tool for resellers and cloud service providers to instantly capture all considerations required to effectively plan cloud deployment projects and provide value-add services to customers. This enables the channel to increase revenues, assure cloud projects are built out properly, and reduce costs of cloud deployments by building solutions-based proposals, says the company.
By asking a series of questions about a cloud project, such as geography, market, source and destination, or number of seats, the Estimator provides real-time details on technical parameters, estimated pricing, as well as industry promotions available across the globe. The tool provides the channel with knowledge about the services, solutions, and promotions that should be considered, in addition to the estimated cost of the cloud project.
Along with ensuring that customer-specific requirements and considerations are addressed, the Estimator unveils cross-sell and upsell opportunities. The tool detects additional service recommendations based on a customer’s specific needs, including considerations for compliance, archives, PST files, documents, data encryption and public folders. By providing all relevant incentives for these considerations from service providers around the world, cloud projects can be carried out at significantly lower costs.
