Tech Data Corporation has signed a distribution agreement with Blueforce Development Corporation to offer its portfolio of mobile and wireless software solutions for situational awareness to solution providers in the United States. Offered through Tech Data’s Mobile Solutions and Retail division, Blueforce software provides solutions for end users that help with critical decision-making and support for general public safety, from first responders to special operations.
“The Blueforce team develops software that ties multiple devices and accessories together to enable a complete, end-user solution. Our ability to pre-configure Blueforce’s software with devices, accessories, and complementary software from existing solution providers will enable Tech Data to bring exclusive, customized, and margin-rich mobility offerings to our solution providers’ businesses,” says Yvette Martinez-Wilson, director, carrier relations and services at Tech Data.
Blueforce builds mobile and wireless software solutions for the national security, infrastructure protection, public safety, and personal life safety markets. The technology enables highly mobile teams to quickly deploy, manage, and dismantle secure networks of people, proximate and body-worn sensors, unattended ground sensors, and remote services using their smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers.
