ECi Software Solutions has announced the acquisition of Naverisk Limited, the developer of a SaaS-based Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Service Desk solution designed to help managed services providers (MSPs) and other IT service professionals support their customers more effectively.
“We consider the addition of Naverisk to ECi a vital component in our efforts to further support and strengthen our service technology customers,” says Ron Books, ECi’s president and CEO. “We have identified IT services as a market that is growing rapidly, and with a large segment of our user base focused in that sector, providing a solution to support their expansion efforts is critical. In our discovery, we found Naverisk to be innovative and unique with its unified solution for RMM and service desk management. With a web-based cloud model and a reputation for being powerful and easy to use, it is the perfect complement to our existing products.”
“ECi currently provides solutions to Managed Print Services providers which collectively monitor more than 6 million devices across the globe,” Books continues. “Naverisk, combined with our FMAudit and e-automate software, will create a powerhouse option for all MSPs and IT service providers who wish to improve or expand their offerings.”
“While we were not looking to sell, when approached by ECi it became quickly apparent that our companies had numerous synergies and were like minded in our strategic approach to business expansion and customer care,” says Jon Kalaugher, who will stay on with ECi as President of Naverisk. “Like Naverisk, ECi is committed to the IT sector and the continued goal of providing technology solutions that will fuel the success of small and medium sized businesses. Joining ECi provides us with a framework for even more accelerated growth and the tremendous opportunity to create world-class solutions for MSPs.”
ECi and Naverisk are privately held companies and the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
