Networking and communications equipment provider, ADTRAN Inc., is strengthening its VoIP switch portfolio with the addition of the NetVanta 1510 and 1550 families of Gigabit Ethernet switches. By expanding its VoIP switch portfolio, the company aims to maintain a sharp focus on voice quality to provide a stronger foundation for VoIP business communications. ADTRAN offers voice-aware switches that deliver voice fidelity, accelerate deployment, and guarantee maximum uptime for premises-based and hosted voice services.
The NetVanta 1510 and 1550 switch families are the first in a series of many enhancements the company plans to reveal in 2015. The NetVanta 1510 web-managed Gigabit Ethernet switches and NetVanta 1550 fully-managed Gigabit Ethernet switches are cloud-ready and can be managed via ADTRAN ProCloud service.
“In order to have rock solid VoIP implementation, businesses must have a switch with voice acumen. ADTRAN’s VoIP switch portfolio experienced tremendous growth over the last two years as it demonstrated its intelligence and performance to the marketplace,” says Todd Lattanzi, director, product management, ADTRAN. “ADTRAN is enabling VARs, MSPs, and carriers to build strong voice foundations for business communications networks, and we look forward to advancing performance levels even further as we set a new standard for voice communications throughout the industry.”
