EarthLink Holdings Corp., a managed network and cloud solutions provider for multi-location businesses, has introduced a new Managed Network Service designed to optimize network performance, provide proactive monitoring and network performance analysis, and relieve the daily operational burden of network management.
EarthLink’s Managed Network Service is available to businesses using either an EarthLink-provided network or a third-party network. Both offer robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs) enabling faster resolution of network and on-premises equipment issues. Customers can also utilize EarthLink’s network operations centers (NOC), removing the capital and operational expense of running and staffing their own NOC. EarthLink’s team monitors and proactively manages all aspects of the customer’s network, including network routers, switches, load balancers, WAN accelerators, SSL VPN concentrators, and wireless access points.
“Business networks run the key applications that drive productivity and growth, but without tying it all together with proactive network management, companies leave a lot of efficiencies on the table,” says Rick C. Froehlich, EarthLink executive vice president, products and consumer. “EarthLink’s Managed Network Service gets out in front of any issues to optimize our clients’ network performance so that vital applications run at optimal levels, helping them deliver great service to their customers.”
The Managed Network Service features:
- 24/7/365 monitoring
- Incident and configuration management
- Change management
- Performance management and reporting
- Real-time dashboard visibility via the myLink customer portal, with customizable views to feature the metrics most important to each business, from location status to network traffic monitoring
