etherFAX LLC, a developer of fax technology solutions, has joined in a partnership with Multi-Tech Systems Inc. a provider of M2M (machine-to-machine) and IoT (Internet of Things) products and services, including modems, routers, and gateways. Together the companies are delivering the etherFAX analog-to-ethernet (A2E) device, an analog telephony adapter (ATA) developed by MultiTech that connects existing analog fax machines to the etherFAX network, allowing faxes to be sent and received via the cloud, instead of the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
“The partnership with MultiTech further expands the reach of the etherFAX network, allowing organizations to cut the PSTN cord without compromising the reliability of their fax operations,” says Paul Banco, CEO of etherFAX. “The etherFAX A2E device is a plug-and-play solution that easily connects with traditional fax machines and is transparent to users.”
The etherFAX A2E device also supports etherFAX Secure Exchange Network (SEN), allowing data-sensitive enterprises to integrate remote fax machines from various locations into their own private fax network.
