Breach Secure Now! Offers MSPs New Platform to Keep Client Data Safe

The new channel offering provides security services and $100K in cyber insurance.

Morristown, N.J.-based Breach Secure Now!, a new division launched by HIPAA Secure Now! designed exclusively for MSPs, enables these IT pros to offer protection for sensitive data to their SMB clients.

MSPs can expand their own brands with Breach Secure Now!, a white-label service that helps organizations prevent data breaches. Breach Secure Now!, a security platform, offers security risk assessments, detailed security policies and procedures, and comprehensive employee security training, as well as tools to scan for personally identifiable information (PII) and to identify system vulnerabilities. The service also includes $100,000 in cyber-insurance coverage and breach response services including legal, forensic, breach notification, and ID/credit monitoring.

“Our MSP partners have been asking for a data security service for their non-healthcare clients that would meet the same rigorous standards as our HIPAA Secure Now! platform,” says Art Gross, CEO of HIPAA Secure Now! “Educating their clients on how risks to data can lead to potentially catastrophic business consequences adds value and reinforces the MSP’s role as a trusted partner.”

In addition to requests from the company’s 150 MSP partners, HIPAA Secure Now! created the new division – the first to be launched under its Secure Now! brand – in response to the growing recognition by smaller companies that data breaches can affect any organization, regardless of size. In fact, small businesses are targets for cybercrime and experience data loss just like large enterprises, according to Verizon’s 2014 Data Breach Investigations Report.

PII on Laptops?
The Breach Secure Now! channel model opens up opportunities for MSPs to educate more than 6 million SMBs in the U.S. about the need to protect PII data such as social security and credit card numbers, while also protecting themselves from potential lawsuits arising from breaches. Part of the employee security training focuses on protecting portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, and USB drives.

In addition to assessing technological vulnerabilities, Breach Secure Now! provides practical insight to employees and business owners down to the subtleties of distinguishing between legitimate emails and websites, and those designed to execute phishing scams.

A Level-Playing Cloud
As data management continues migrating to cloud-based systems, MSPs need to address the lower demand for their traditional services, such as hardware/software upgrades and licensing. Breach Secure Now! helps MSPs level the playing field because they can use the platform to offer their clients additional data security services. “[It also] provides a framework for MSPs to discuss security and risk with their clients, and resources to help convince them of the need to better protect data by investing in security products and services,” says Gross.

Breach Secure Now! offers a partner program and lets MSPs set the pricing that their clients pay for the service. For more information on the Breach Secure Now! partner program visit http://www.Breach Secure Now!.com/partners/.
