SingleHop, a provider of cloud-enabled managed hosting and on-demand infrastructure, has launched the Enterprise On Demand Technology Partner Program, an ecosystem of enterprise-class technologies that are integrated into SingleHop’s offerings. Through this partner program, SingleHop can offer a combination of enterprise-class technologies from top industry vendors and integrate it into its proprietary automation engine.
SingleHop’s inaugural partners are AlertLogic and Radware, two companies with expertise in security solutions. The company chose Alert Logic and Radware based on their approach to application and server security, and DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack mitigation.
Alert Logic, a provider of Security-as-a-Service solutions for the cloud, offers a platform of fully managed products and services designed to keep business’ data and infrastructure safe and compliant. Whether a company’s IT infrastructure is on-premises, in a public cloud, private cloud or hybrid, the Alert Logic portfolio of solutions and services allow visibility into its business environment.
“While cloud platforms tend to be inherently secure, applications built on top of cloud platforms are not protected by the same security posture and must be secured separately, with tools developed specifically for cloud applications,” says Kyle Smith, Sr. director of partner marketing at Alert Logic. “Alert Logic solutions are built specifically for cloud applications and protect more than 2,700 customers with a unique combination of market-leading security technologies and human expertise to identify and escalate threats. Partnering with SingleHop will enable us to extend our protection to a broader set of customers, including companies that haven’t traditionally been able to afford the same protection as large enterprises.”†
Radware brings to the table DefensePro, an element of its Attack Mitigation System, which is comprised of a suite of security technologies and services designed to detect and mitigate cyber-attacks.
“DefensePro and Radware AMS enable cloud and hosting service providers, like SingleHop, to not only protect their critical infrastructure from cyber-attacks, but to also defend their customers and key business services which are extended to their hosted client base,” says Carl Herberger, vice president of security solutions for Radware. “For over ten years, Radware’s security suite was designed with multi-tenanted service providers in mind. For SingleHop, that means turning their Enterprise On Demand, to a secure Enterprise On Demand and allows them to build efficient security businesses and accelerate their ROI.” †
SingleHop’s security solutions can be deployed on any of its enterprise infrastructure products, including Virtual Servers, Dedicated Servers, and Dedicated Private Clouds.†
