Tech Data Corporation has signed a new distribution agreement with Kanex, a provider of Apple and iOS connectivity solutions for homes and businesses worldwide, to provide Kanex products to Tech Data’s channel of solution providers throughout the U.S. and Latin America. The announcement follows Tech Data’s recent agreement to distribute Kanex solutions in the United Kingdom (UK). The announcement was made in conjunction with Tech Data’s Fall Channel Link Conference, taking place this week in Orlando, Florida.
Through the agreement, Tech Data will provide Apple resellers, retailers, carrier stores, and SMB solution providers with Kanex for Apple and iOS connectivity solutions and KanexPro A/V solutions.

Tech Data resellers will now have access to Kanex’s two Thunderbolt adapters, the Thunderbolt to eSATA + USB 3.0 and the Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet + USB 3.0, which were introduced earlier this year. Additionally, Tech Data will offer Kanex’s full suite of Android products and solutions.
