2014 International CES was dominated by big, beautiful TVs. And Gefen wants to give your clients something to watch on those new TVs – and make the whole process extremely easy.
Gefen’s new Wireless Extender for HDMI 60 GHz allows installers to put source equipment, such as a Blu-ray player or cable box, wherever they want. Once set up, this add-on allows clients to stream full 1080p HD, all without wires. It can deliver those high-def images within the room, up to 33 feet from the TV.
The plug-and-play system uses the 60 GHz EHF (Extremely High Frequency) radio band and can support 3D, as well as lossless High Bit Rate (HBR) 7.1-channel Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Designed to work alongside other wireless devices in adjacent rooms with zero interference, the Wireless for HDMI 60 GHz boasts an easy installation with just a connection of the video source to the sender and one for the display or projector to the receiver.
Gefen is selling the Wireless for HDMI 60 GHz now with an MSRP of $449.
