Thermaltake has released two new members of its Thermaltake Urban Series (windowed/non-window) mainstream mid-tower — Urban T21 and Urban T31. According to Thermaltake, the entire series is designed for users who are looking for powerful performance and high expandability, but with a more simple and sophisticated look.
Urban T21
Urban T21 is built with a metal brushed front door panel to mask the extrusive drive devices (3 ODD and 6 HDD drive bays). The front-top panel has two of the latest data transfer SuperSpeed USB 3.0, a HD microphone and headset jacks, and a side window-opening panel to take an instant glance of the interior.
There are two preinstalled 120mm fans to optimize system ventilation in Urban S21. With pre-mounted holes for more ventilation options, users still can build up system ventilation by their preference. The case includes 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch tool-free drive bay designed to minimize the hassles of installing ODD and HDD devices.
Pre-mounting holes enable users to support motherboards up to standard ATX and CPU cooler installation. It also includes space for an extra long graphic card, as well as rubber grommet holes for cable management and liquid cooling system.
Urban T31
Urban T31 (window/non-window) is built with brushed aluminum finish and steel mesh front door panel to mask the extrusive drive devices (3 ODD and 6 HDD drive bays). The non-window version comes with silent performance. The preinstalled sound-damping foams for silence purposes on both side panels reduce noise and acoustic levels within the chassis.
The perforated front-top panel has two of the latest data transfer devices with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports along with two USB 2.0 ports, a HD microphone and headset jacks. Top-mounted 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch HDD docking station enables file transfer and hot-swap drive replacement design for setup or removal of storage or backup media.
