PGi (Premier Global Services Inc.), a provider of multi-point, real-time virtual collaboration solutions, and IT distributor Tech Data Corp. have reached a distribution agreement that will make PGi’s global IP audio conferencing and Web conferencing software, GlobalMeet, available to customers in the U.S.
GlobalMeet, which enables Web and audio conferencing on the desktop, phone, tablet, or smartphone, is now available to Tech Data’s channel of solution providers through the distributor’s Solutions Store. The Solutions Store is powered by Tech Data’s StreamOne platform, an automated technology that scales the business and operational scope associated with cloud and subscription services. GlobalMeet audio and Web conferencing and collaboration solutions can be accessed anywhere users have a phone line or access to the Web via PGi’s desktop and mobile apps.
To assist channel pros, PGi offers a partner program that includes dedicated account teams, an administration portal for online provisioning, a co-branded customer service experience, flexible reporting systems, billing integration and support, partner training, demonstration support, and marketing plans.
According to Ralph Hawkins, senior vice president, PGi partner channel, the company is committed to strengthening its partner program and growing distribution of PGi’s collaboration software through the agreement with Tech Data.
