All-in-one backup, archiving, instant recovery, and disaster recovery solutions provider Unitrends has struck a distribution agreement with Tech Data Corp. The distributor will carry Unitrends’ entire product portfolio of physical and virtual backup and recovery appliances to resellers.
As part of the agreement, Tech Data’s channel of resellers gain access to Unitrends’ Unified Data Protection offering, which the software-only backup and recovery virtual appliance Unitrends Enterprise Backup and the scalable backup and recovery physical appliances in the Unitrends Recovery Series.
“We are always in search of solutions to offer our channel of solution providers that will complement their existing product portfolio,” says Stacy Nethercoat, Tech Data’s vice president of product marketing, software and cloud services. “When it comes to backup and recovery, partnering with Unitrends was an easy decision because its technology is innovative, affordable, and easy to use.”
