Public access gateway innovator Nomadix Inc. is touting its latest solution, the AG 2400.
Designed for smaller properties, such as hotels with up to 150 rooms, the AG 2400 supports up to 200 simultaneous mobile devices.†Equipped with a range of bandwidth management tools and full PMS interface capabilities, the AG 2400 ensures an optimal user experience through bandwidth management of each device accessing the network.
The AG 2400 is built on Intel processors and offers increased throughput.†It also sports built-in flash memory and contains Nomadix Service Engine (NSE) Core Software.†Additionally, the NSE enables the AG 2400 to support multiple authentication modes for secure connection and limited access.
“Many small- or medium-sized venues that provide Internet access need a secure and effective gateway with many of the bells and whistles that more robust gateways possess,” says Fred Reeder, Nomadix’s chief commercial and operating officer.†”The AG 2400 is sized for these types of properties.”
The AG 2400 can charge by volume, time, or bandwidth and also facilitates a variety of options through credit card interface over SSL, Radius, or via secure XML API enabling. This includes more than 30 PMS types and third-party integration.†
