Tech Data Corp., in Clearwater, Fla., is expanding TDMobility University through TDMobility, its end-to-end mobility solutions offering. TDMobility University offers Tech Data’s community of mobility solution providers the training and education they need to expand their mobility offerings.
TDMobility University features a central portal for online training videos, resources, demos, and news. For example, training videos about the mobile market include how to define a mobile strategy that will best fit end users, how to develop mobile policy, mobile device management (MDM), and mobile security solutions. Also available are white-labeled presentations, meeting tips and scripts, product slicks, and email templates, in addition to customized branding.
A joint venture between Brightstar and Tech Data, TDMobility’s infrastructure is intended to simplify a solution provider’s entry into the mobile market, providing the industry’s first end-to-end platform encompassing mobile hardware, software, service plans, activation, and billing. Tech Data has key agreements in place with today’s leading wireless carriers, including Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint, enabling resellers to activate lines on behalf of each mobile carrier.
