Symantec Corp., Mountain View, Calif., has announced several enhancements to its Website Security Partner Program.
For the new Website Security Specialization, partners attain Specialist Partner status through training, API integration, and a focus on Symantec-branded solutions. They will be showcased as preferred partners and listed on the Website Security Specialization Partner Directory.
Another enhancement is Website Security Training and Accreditation. Partners will learn how to sell and support Symantec Website Security solutions, and will be able to tap into Symantec’s portfolio of training and tools. Accreditation is one of the key requirements to becoming a Website Security Solutions Specialist. To receive accreditation, partner representatives must complete the self-paced online training and pass the assessment exam.
The Road to Profitability Quick Start Program is a platform for new and current partners to access resources and tools for ramping website security and SSL sales.
Finally, Symantec broadened its website security solutions portfolio with the new GeoTrust Enterprise Security Center, a subscription-based solution for managing, purchasing, auto-issuing, renewing, and tracking all GeoTrust SSL certificates.
