Secure broadband networking provider ZyXEL Communications and Kaspersky Labs are teaming up in a promotion of ZyXEL’s USG series of unified threat management (UTM) devices. As part of the promotion, new purchases of a USG UTM will come with a free one-year subscription to Kaspersky Labs’ Endpoint Security for Business Suite.
The number of free one-year licenses of the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business Suite will depend on the size of the ZyXEL UTM device purchased. Owners of ZyXEL’s USG20, USG20W, USG50, and USG100 will receive one free one-year subscription. USG200 owners will receive two free one-year licenses, and owners of USG 1000 and USG 2000 will receive four and five one-year licenses, respectively.†
ZyXEL UTM customers will also get discounts on purchases of additional licenses.
ZyXEL’s USG series of UTM devices are designed for SMBs to provide real-time inspection and multi-layer network protection to prevent the network from threats. The USG Series offers stateful packed inspection firewall, anti-virus, intrusion detection and prevention, content filtering, anti-spam, and VPN (IPSec/SSL/L2TP) features. In addition, the IPv6-ready USG series come with continuous firmware upgrades. †
“ZyXEL has combined a complete set of tools with security vendors for our UTM devices to offer SMBs,” says ZyXEL executive vice president Steven Joe. “As SMBs experience persistent security threats, we are working with partners like Kasparsky to find more ways to help businesses try new tools to improve their network defenses, risk-free.”
In addition to delivering Kaspersky’s anti-malware technologies, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business SELECT adds mobile security, file server security and flexible control technologies that help SMBs ensure compliance with security policies.
