IT distributor Tech Data Corp. has entered into a partnership with mobile device accessories company ZAGG Inc. whereby Tech Data will distribute ZAGG’s full line of products.
ZAGG offers products that protect the mobile experience, including the invisibleSHIELD, which protects devices from damage. Through Tech Data, partners gain access to ZAGG’s line of mobile accessories, including keyboards, cases, audio and protective films.
“This new partnership gives our solution providers access to ZAGG products, which protect electronics while improving functionality,” says Tiffany Severance, Tech Data’s director of product marketing, Client Systems. “Protection and increased device functionality are a natural extension of our Client Systems offering, and we are excited to offer ZAGG’s product portfolio.”
For Zagg, Tech Data’s partner network offers an opportunity to expand its customer base. “This partnership provides an opportunity for ZAGG to execute on one of our corporate objectives of targeted global distribution,” says Derek Smith, ZAGG’s executive vice president of sales. †
