Secure broadband networking provider ZyXEL Communications is working to lure authorized channel partners and their SMB clients this quarter with a promotional deal on anti-virus and intrusion detection/peer-to-peer blocking (IDP) services.
“Trends like BYOD and increased reliance on cloud computing have boosted demand for anti-virus and IDP service,” says Steven Joe, ZyXEL’s executive vice president of channel business for Americas. “The ZyXEL Incentive Rebate Program was created specifically to increase the margins for our partners by offering these services to them for free.”
The promotional offer is available for a number of ZyXEL’s UTM (unified threat and management) solutions designed for SMBs, including USG100, USG200, USG300, USG1000, and USG2000 models. These models offer network protection and boast up to seven multi-WAN gigabit ports (and from 50 to 2000 VPN tunnels). All feature, SSL, VPN, high availability, anti-virus, and IDP.
According to ZyXEL, savings can range from $200 to $1,900 depending on the model purchased. The promotion ends March 31, 2013. Purchases of these products must be made through ZyXEL authorized distributors ASI, Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Synnex, Wynit, and Jenne. Products purchased through online retailers are not eligible.
