Solid state drive manufacturer BiTMICRO is offering a new OnBoard Program designed to support OEMs looking to use BiTMICRO’s Talino SSD Controller technology.
“It’s undeniable that the solid state storage industry is growing rapidly,” says Zophar Sante, BiTMICRO’s vice president of marketing and sales. “We’re not only speaking with companies that want to use our SSD controller technology to develop their own solid state drive solutions, but also with companies seeking to embed solid state storage natively into their own vertical application platforms.”
BiTMICRO’s new Talino architecture features the company’s Talino ASIC quad core SSD controller, which can achieve up to 400,000 random IOPS at 4KB. The other chip in the Talino architecture is their ISIP ASIC flash expander, which enables OEMs to scale up capacity and performance.
“Developing a solid state ASIC controller takes time and significant resources,” Sante says. “By offering our Talino SSD Controller and associated technology to other OEMs, we shorten their time to market and provide them with a competitive advantage. “†
