D&H Distributing Co. will offer three Windows 8/Server 2012 regional “Boot Camp” training sessions throughout the United States this year to reinforce the introduction of both Windows 8 and the new Microsoft Server 2012. These sessions are designed to enable select groups of customers in different locales to get an in-person, hands-on look at the new OS, to help their customers (and their own technicians) become familiar with its new capabilities and make an effective transition.
In addition, 2013 will feature a variety of training formats in the distributor’s Solutions Lab. Scheduled programs range from on-demand technical shorts; to full-scale webcasts including Q&A sessions; to invitation-only, live system-building sessions held at the Harrisburg, Pa.-based lab location. Scheduled lab postings for Q1 thus far include a Windows 8 and Office 2013 event, in addition to a Server 2012 webcast, both sponsored by Microsoft and Intel. The state-of-the-art Solutions Lab is being enhanced on a regular basis; new equipment was recently added to improve both the video and audio experience.
