Telecommunications innovator Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., along with SIP trunking provider N2Net, has announced an interoperability certification.
N2Net’s SIP trunking solution is now certified to operate with Toshiba’s IPedge and Strata CIX IP business communication systems. N2Net SIP trunking is now available from Authorized Toshiba Dealers nationwide.
“Certification of Toshiba’s IPedge and Strata CIX with N2Net SIP provides SMBs the interoperability of a feature-rich telephone system with a high-quality SIP service that has disaster recovery capability at the service-provider level,” said Mark Carpenter, Toshiba’s vice president of product management.
“Authorized Toshiba Dealers can now offer their Toshiba IPedge and Strata CIX customers N2Net SIP as part of their enterprise telephony systems,” says N2Net vice president Jim Moorman. “With its built-in disaster recovery capabilities, N2Net SIP gives SMBs the peace of mind that they will have business continuity in the event of a local disaster such as a fire or flood.”
