Colligo Networks, an email and document management solutions provider for Microsoft SharePoint, has announced Colligo Briefcase 3.3. The latest iteration of Briefcase adds new capabilities to the SharePoint app for Apple mobile devices, including the SharePoint/Outlook integration app, Colligo Email Manager, the Colligo Administrator, and the Colligo Briefcase for secure mobile access.
The latest Colligo Briefcase 3.3 includes such new features as:
- SharePoint calendar support with day/week/month views.
- Mobile SharePoint search, with support for FAST Search Server for SharePoint.
- Unlimited “Playlists” of SharePoint items.
- Metadata prompts for newly uploaded SharePoint data.
- SharePoint column filtering.
- Support for SharePoint content types.
“On one hand, this release adds features to increase end user productivity, such as the ability to search SharePoint from within the app, or create playlists of related content,” says Trevor Dyck, Colligo’s director of product management. “On the other, it also recognizes that the backbone of enterprise content management is metadata, which must be supported, regardless of device.”
Colligo Briefcase is available in three editions: Lite, Pro, and Enterprise, with a single license covering iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Enterprise pricing is determined based on feature and deployment options.
Colligo Briefcase Pro is available immediately from the Apple App Store. Organizations in select countries can also purchase using Apple’s B2B Volume Purchase Program.
