Datto Inc., a Norwalk, Conn.-based provider of hardware-based on-site and off-site backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions, has revamped its partner program with the new Partner Alliance Program.
The program has three tiers: Authorized, Certified, and Preferred. Partners are awarded points based on the amount of device storage they have purchased through Datto, and can earn bonus points by participating in Datto activities and promotions. Partners must accumulate a set amount of points and complete certain training requirements to move up to the next tier.
According to Shannon Kohn, director of marketing and channel relations for Datto, Preferred Partners receive benefits such as a VIP technical support number, free device shipping, and more. “We wanted to deliver benefits that partners would get excited about,” she says.
Datto has also released a Partner Welcome Kit for new and existing partners. The kit includes a Partner Quickstart Guide, company overview, service benefits explanation, training opportunities, and Datto polices.
Other components of the program include a guided virtual video tour of Datto’s partner portal, customizable marketing materials, lead-sharing opportunities, sales and marketing training, not-for-resale opportunities, and website-ready partner badges.
