At the end of last year, Zenith RMM, the managed services remote monitoring and management platform that spun off from Zenith Infotech, rebranded itself as Continuum Managed Services LLC. Today, Continuum also offers business continuity, a 24/7 help desk, and a network operations center, according to Steve Ricketts, the company’s vice president of marketing. Ricketts recently provided a snapshot of Continuum’s partner services for Michael Siggins, publisher of ChannelPro-SMB.
ChannelPro-SMB: What types of partners does Continuum have?
Ricketts: Most of our partners are managed service providers, but some are IT solution providers making the transition to managed services. Typically, they’re focused on [SMBs]. Many have only a few employees and are servicing the smaller end of SMB. We also have several larger partners with maybe 10 or 20 technicians and they go after both the small and medium-size market.
ChannelPro-SMB: What do you do for partners not yet offering managed services?
Ricketts: We [help] them technically with boot camps, help them ramp up on our platform and the managed services business model overall, as well as [provide] sales and marketing services to help them grow their client base.
ChannelPro-SMB: Do you have other services in the works?
Ricketts: We’re going to be expanding the set of sales and marketing services we provide in Q3 and into Q4 of this year. We will be delivering materials, webinars, and email marketing campaigns with a vertical focus. On continuum.net we have a resources tab, and if partners go to the events section, [they’ll see] different video assets. We’re looking to [develop a section where] they can create a video to introduce their company to prospective clients. Those are some of the unique things we’re doing for partners to help them promote their business to clients.
