ZyXEL Communications, a networking and routing provider, has debuted a line of security cameras designed for SMBs. The cameras offer Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), vandal-proof housing, motorized zoom, and focus and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ).
The new IPC1905 is a PoE bullet camera with both day and night vision, plus environment hardened housing for indoor or outdoor use. ZyXEL is also launching a PoE version of its IPC4605N cloud camera, ideal for businesses requiring PTZ monitoring. The IPC4605P includes a dome enclosure to protect against dust and vandalism.
ZyXEL professional cameras come in four different form factors including bullet cams (PIC1100 series), mini-dome cameras (PIC2100 series), normal dome cameras (the PIC3100 series) and the Pan-Tilt-Zoom dome cameras (the PIC4100 series). The 1100, 2100, and 3100 series are built on a common platform that offers a range of features, including:
- Intelligent configuration technology
- 3D noise reduction technology
- Smart Picture Detection functionality
- Infrared and smart motion detection
- PoE functionality
- 2M CMOS or 5M CMOS image sensors
- Indoor or outdoor IP-66 rated enclosures
The PIC4100 series cameras provide full PTZ functionality in both an indoor and outdoor rated enclosure. Featuring 20x zoom, 1080p video, and auto-tracking, the PIC4100 series is designed to cover large areas or tracking individuals in a public area.
