IDEAL Industries Networks, a networking provider, has launched NaviTEK II, an Ethernet Service and Cable Tester for frontline technicians. The NaviTEK II tester includes IPv6, PoE, vLANs, Trace Route, and advanced color LCD screen to view pin by pin wiremap capabilities.
The NaviTEK II features a simplified user-interface with a large 3.5″ color LCD. With five-way navigation buttons for intuitive data input, the NaviTEK II offers the ability to test both cabling and network performance using the same RJ45 interface. The tester also gives the technician detailed error counts, providing deeper insight into networking problems. The NaviTEK II will store up to 250 tests, which can be organized into five folders.
