Sixnet, an M2M industrial networking provider, is now offering Long Term Evolution (LTE) support for its EnterprisePro cellular routers. Ideal for SMB customers looking for increased cellular technology speeds for primary or WAN backup connectivity, LTE support provides Sixnet customers with 4G wireless connectivity and backwards compatibility to 3G and 2G networks.
The EnterprisePro series enables customers to use USB sticks to take advantage of LTE wireless broadband technology. The functionality is compatible with LTE networks from Verizon and will work with AT&T, Sprint, Bell Mobility, Telus, and Rogers later this year. LTE provides support to landline back-up, video surveillance, or any application that requires QoS capabilities.
Sixnet’s Enterprise Pro cellular routers offer broadband connectivity, standards-based TCP/IP protocols, VPN support, and a stateful firewall. The routers can be fully managed by Red Lion’s SixView Manager software.
