Microsoft has made changes to its Microsoft Certification Program, designed to address the growing skills gap in the technology industry. Microsoft has reinvented its flagship credential, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, for the cloud. The new Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is designed to incorporate these changes.
A clear certification path has been created with three skill levels – associate, expert, and master. Designed to run the gamut from entry level to high experience, each certification level is updated to be aligned with the real world and reflect industry shifts, including the mix of cloud and on-premise technologies. With the new MCSE certification, IT providers can set themselves apart. For developers, Microsoft is offering the MCSD certification.
