Virtualization developer Ericom Software is rolling out AccessCloud this month. It is a new initiative aimed at facilitating the adoption of cloud-hosted services by enabling MSPs to deliver their client and server Windows applications as a Software as a Service (SaaS), complete with multi-tenancy and billing and automatic provisioning functionality.
Ericom AccessCloud provides a comprehensive solution for channel pros looking to enable their Windows applications.
“With Ericom AccessCloud, cloud hosting companies can rapidly grow their business at an accelerated pace,” states Ericom in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB, “enabling thousands of MSPs with Windows client and server applications to get to the cloud and provide their applications on a SaaS model.”
Ericom’s CEO Eran Heyman adds that many MSPs are looking to address SMB clients’ needs in their cloud migration process. “These companies have developed very mature and feature-rich Windows applications, and face significant challenges and investment in cloud-enabling these applications,” he says. “We are very pleased to be able to offer an easy and cost-effective path to assist in overcoming these challenges.”
